The Kurdistan Regional Government/Ministry of Transport and Communications launches the URUK system and project to regulate, monitor and enhance positioning to organize cross-border trade and transit, starting from the Kurdistan Region through Iraq and neighboring countries to the Gulf countries. The Minister of Transport and Communications of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Ano Jawhar, revealed this pioneering initiative, indicating a qualitative leap in facilitating trade, enhancing logistics efficiency and providing hundreds of job opportunities for citizens in Kurdistan.
